In April, I will be featuring an interview with Cree/Mohawk carver Gary Starr, who was raised by his stepdad Reg Scow, a Kwakiutl from Alert Bay, British Columbia. Barry Scow, a well-known carver, taught and mentored Gary, who is known for his incredibly articulated masks and puppets.
